Hello and Welcome back to my blog with another blog post that is focusing on university. This is a study with me which I know is usually done on YouTube but I thought it would be nice to have it as something to read as I do vlog a lot of what I do during my day at university.
I did a study with me back when I was in college but within the time then and now, things have changed and I study differently now.
Now let's all agree studying isn't easy and it's not the most exciting thing to do with your day when you could be shopping or at the beach or with friends but it's something that has to be done. In this study with me, you will see how I study for my exams coming up in under a months time. So let's just get into this.
Firstly
Every morning before I even start my revision, I go to my kitchen to get my morning Caffeine fix otherwise I am not wise to be around. But seriously it really does help me get into that study mind set and put focus on the day although I do tend to have at least four to five cups within the day but either way I just think I have a coffee addiction. The coffee I tend to go with is Nescafe gold.
Secondly
Around this time, I tend to usually start my revision slowly, I ease into it by having a to do list and go through that to do list and aim to complete the to do list by the end of day. With this to do list, i then get to started on the piece of revision that I had planned to start first and I am to get that done within an hour to an hour and a half.
Thirdly
I then get up the lecture notes for the unit I am planning to revise at that time so that I have the resources I need to get the important information that is needed down in order to hope that I memorise it and actually understand what I have to do.
Fourthly
I then make sure to get all kinds of stationary so that I can give things different colours so that they stand out. These Stabio Boss highlighters are my go too, I like the pastel colours highlighters and it does show what I need to know for my revision
Fifthly
I then after writing in notebooks, take the important notes out of the stuff I have written on to queue cards which I can then look over several times to try and teach myself what I need to know.
Finally
The last thing I need for revision is snacks in order to motivate me, I love to eat as it is, food is literally the best thing in my life although it's an unhealthy obsession because I eat more sugary and fattening foods instead of healthy. But it really helps me because then at least I know I'm not hungry.
That was my study with me, revision style, hopefully this continues to work for me.
